The Modern Japanese Studies Program (MJSP) is a Bachelor's Degree program, preceded by a Intensive Japanese Course for those without sufficient Japanese to enter the Bachelor's Degree program directly.

Application Process 1. Prepare application documents. Make arrangements for English test scores and standardized tests scores (if applicable) to be sent to MJSP at Hokkaido University.
2. Visit the university's online application page and read the instructions and notes carefully before registering your application. Please register online first.
3. Pay application fee (5,000 yen).
4. Send the application materials via registered mail. Applications that are not received by the application deadline will not be processed. Please be sure to leave enough time for all the materials to arrive by post.
