|Eligibility||For admission to candidacy for the Ph.D. degree, applicants must have bachelor’s and master’s degrees based upon a distinguished record of academic achievement. Applicants should also have some background in the disciplines of art history, cultural anthropology, history, literature, political science, religion, and/or sociology through prior undergraduate and graduate education.
