English Track Degree Program

The "English Track Degree Program" is a four-year Bachelor's Degree program at Tokyo International University with two majors: Business Economics and International Relations. This program allows students to earn all credits in English while learning practical Japanese at the same time. A "fast-track" program is also available, so you can get both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in 5 years!
• Business Economics Major
"Business Economics" is a branch of the applied economics discipline that has to do with the analysis of economic decision-making in a business setting. This major focuses on developing skills in theoretical and empirical analysis and how to apply these to analyze practical aspects of business. These features provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills of economic analysis, as well as strategic ways of critical thinking to succeed in the real world.
• International Relations Major
This major is designed for those who seek a global perspective and wish to contribute to international society. It explores international cooperation and conflict, poverty and development, the nature and causes of war, as well as other global issues. Students will develop the ability to firmly grasp the causes of global issues and learn to explore their solutions - essential components to becoming a global leader.

1. Study Abroad Programs
TIU provides a wide range of Study Abroad Programs, including 300+ universities through ISEP and the American Studies Program (ASP) in cooperation with Willamette University in Oregon. We have the right kind of study abroad program for any student.
2. 5-year Bachelor's/Master's program
The Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's Program is a program designed to enable students with good academic standing to complete both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 5 years. Students can take advantage of saving time and tuition compared to the regular programs.

Eligibility ・Requirement 1 Educational Background
Applicants must have completed, or be scheduled to complete one of the following criteria before the enrollment date at TIU.
① A standard 12-year education from a recognized education system.
② Be at least 18 years of age before the enrollment date at TIU, and have obtained one of the following qualifications. a. International Baccalaureate Diploma * (awarded by the International Baccalaureate Organization) b. Abitur (issued by Federal Republic of Germany for college entrance) c. Baccalaureate Diploma (issued by the French Republic for college entrance).
③ Be at least 18 years of age before the enrollment date at TIU, and have completed their studies at a Japanese pre-university preparatory institution, a preparatory school outside of Japan for students planning to study in Japan, or a Japanese secondary school.

・ Requirement 2
English Proficiency Applicants must be able to demonstrate sufficient linguistic ability to understand lectures in English. To demonstrate English proficiency, applicants are required to take one of the following English tests and achieve at least the minimum score indicated below.

Minimum required scores:
TOEFL iBT 61  / TOEIC 700 / IELTS 5.5 / Pearson PTE 45 / EIKEN Pre-1
Application Process 1. Prepare application documents before the application period starts.
2. - Go to Register a username and password. Fill in all required information. Pay the application fee on the application system.
- Send all required documents by a registered mail service or courier by the application deadline. The physical documents required for application should be sent as soon as possible to ensure your eligibility to enroll, even before finishing the online application. Make sure to get the required physical documents well in advance.

Screening Process Admission results are determined by carefully reviewing and judging all submitted documents.
