International Master's Program in Economics

The International Graduate Program in Economics (IGPE: IMPE + IDPE) is one of the MEXT's Global 30 programs Kyushu University has launched Autumn 2010.
The International Master’s Program in Economics (IMPE) is a two-year postgraduate program taught in English. Our students come from all over the world, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
The program consists of coursework and research thesis. The students study core courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics in the first year. Those students who wish to proceed to the International Doctoral Program in Economics (IDPE) need to complete these core courses with distinction. The second year is mainly devoted to the writing of the master’s thesis.
