Master's Program in Sport and Olympic Studies
The master’s degree program of Sport and Olympic Studies has commenced from 2020. This is the renewal and legacy program of Tsukuba International Academy for Sport Studies, which is TIAS. TIAS expanded and strengthened the network with international sports organizations such as IOC and IPC and sports-related organizations and associations in each country. This TIAS was reborn as the TIAS 2.0 program. Students are from Europe, the North and South America, and Asia. Together with the TIAS 2.0 students we hope you will have the opportunity to have international and fruitful experiences.

| Additional Information | All learning is done in English, and upon entering the programme, students choose one of four areas of education and research fields: 1)Olympic/Paralympic Education, 2) Sport Management 3) Sport Science and Medicine, and 4) Teaching/Coaching/Japanese Culture. Although students focus mainly on the subjects in their chosen field, they also study about other fields in a balanced way. More than 110 graduates have completed the programme. They now work in international sports organisations, overseas NFs, organizing committees for Olympic and Paralympic Games, sport-related companies, and educational institutions. MEXT scholarship (Special Programme) is available for the 2024 intake. |

| Eligibility | 1. Individuals who have graduated or who will graduate from a Japanese four-year university by September 2024 2. Individuals who have earned or will earn a bachelor’s degree in Japan by September 2024 3. Individuals who have graduated from a university outside Japan that implements 16 or more years of a school curriculum up to university graduation, and earned a bachelor’s degree 4.
