Future Global Leadership Program: Advanced Molecular Chemistry (AMC)

Advanced Molecular Chemistry (AMC) course is a fundamental chemistry curriculum with an emphasis on materials science. Students will be educated and do research in organic inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, plymer chemistry, biochemistry, and materials chemistry. the AMC course is designed to train future leaders in the field of materials science, which is playing an increasing role in the development of new technologies.
In particular, the AMC courses is designed to help students develop the skills needed for identifying and solving research problems within science and technology. Lectures and laboratory classes are taught by faculty members in the Department of Chemistry and affiliated materials research institutes (IMR, IMRAM, WPI-AIMR). The international character of the AMC course and its comprehensive curriculum will prepare students for global leadership roles in both academia and industry.

Future Global Leadership Program: Applied Marine Biology Course (AMB)

Applied Marine Biology Course (AMB) is a marine science course with an emphasis on research applications to all aspects connected with harvesting food from natural and aquacultured marine animals and plants. Grounded in basic sciences in the first year, AMB students receive instruction and training in abroad range of techniques and subject areas including ecology, physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology. The plants and animals that students will become familiar with include seaweeds, plankton, various kinds of fishes, shellfish, and other.

Future Global Leadership Program: International Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (IMAC-U)

International Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (IMAC-U) is an International undergraduate course taught fully in English in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in School of Engineering at Tohoku University. It consists of more than 100 laboratories covering a wide range of study fields from fluid dynamics, thermal engineering, materials engineering, nanotechnologies, aerospace engineering, robotics, biomedical engineering, information science, quantum science and energy, to environmental study. Students are provided a world-class educational and research environment to study mechanics engineering and foster the international awareness.
